Hillair Bell, MS Associate

When Hillair joined Morgan Consulting Resources in 1999 she brought her enthusiasm for learning and her innate talent for innovation along with 18 years experience in consulting and management roles in healthcare. Much of her prior work focused on helping healthcare organizations integrate cultures following mergers, acquisitions and reductions-in-force, including the integration of an Hispanic Adult Day Care Center into a Chinese Continuum Care organization, and building a decision-making coalition of OB-GYN physicians, nurses and residents that reduced maternity transfers and saved over $1M in the first year.

Hillair was also a key contributor to the Innovation Program at Kaiser Permanente Northern California, where physicians and staff received funding to test new ideas and evaluate results. Many of those ideas were implemented system-wide and became the standards of practice.

She holds a Masters degree in Organization Development. Hillair thrives in complex situations where she is able to see opportunities and new connections that are not obvious at first glance. In recruiting talented executives, she recognizes how the right candidate can enhance the organization's ability to enact their mission and vision. Drawing on her knowledge and experience Hillair concentrates her efforts for the greatest impact.

Following her affinity for the water, Hillair now lives in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands and handles many of Morgan Consulting's projects in Puerto Rico and the Eastern United States from her home base there. She enjoys integrating her work with her love of sailing, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities to keep her sharp, creative and well-balanced.
